Yesterday, my local public Library was hosting a painting class. We’ll, I’d been to one other one before and had a wonderful time. My painting skills aren’t the best, and couldn’t even consider myself a painter or an artist for that matter.
So there I was with an outline drew on the white canvas and plate full of colors to choose from along with three paint brushes. Our design was a truck with little Easter designs, but you could use your imagination and made it your own piece.
I stuck to the main design to an extent and wondered off in my own direction. I’ll include a picture below. (Promise me, you won’t laugh).
I’m not a painter by any means like I mentioned above, but in my opinion, as long as you’re satisfied with it, that’s all that matters.
As I was creating this masterpiece, I couldn’t help but think our life is like a painting canvas. We start out blank and each day we add a different paint color til the canvas is completed. It’s up to us what type of design or color goes on our life painting and the colors can turn gray in a matter of seconds, but always can be painted over with a different color.
Are you a painter? If so, share your designs and masterpieces below and maybe pass some tips and tricks along.
Have a good weekend everyone, and I’ll see you next week.
