If you’re like me, when spring rolls around on the calendar, a list of outdoor projects instantly form into a to-do-list.
Some may include: de-weeding flower beds and preparing to plant new flowers, getting your vegetable gardens ready for the growing season, or doing spring cleaning.
Those are things that have been on my spring list for the past few weeks. It’s always a joy to grow something in your garden or spruce up your flower beds.
Here in Virginia, it’s been cool to watch the past few weeks the leaves returning to the trees. I talk a walk or two or three times each day and watch over the mountains that once was bare is now full again, thanks to the leaves.
Let’s not forget a spring tradition for many people, including myself this year… Strawberry Jam.
Yes, that’s what is on my agenda for today. Eight gallons of fresh North Carolina grown berries, bags of sugar, and plenty of canning jars.
So if you’ll excuse me, I have jar upon jar of strawberry jam to make and my morning walk to accomplish. I’ll see you toward the end of the week. I have a new painting I’d like to share.
Have a good day, everyone!
